El nivel de alerta del volcán Colima se ha aumentado a amarillo debido a un incremento en su actividad, según han informado fuentes oficiales.
Los residentes han sido advertidos para que estén informados de los procedimientos de evacuación.
Según
se ha informado, un escenario posible sería una explosión moderada del
volcán y el crecimiento del domo del cráter con flujos de lava.
Los
expertos que monitorean el volcán han explicado haber detectado un
incremento significativo de la actividad sísmica volcánica.
La zona de exclusión alrededor del volcán se ha ampliado a ocho kilómetros.
Las
agencias de Protección Civil Estatales y Federales han recomendado a
los residentes a estar en calma, a respetar la zona de exclusión y a
informarse de los procedimientos de evacuación.
La alerta es la tercera de un nivel de cuatro e indica actividad de baja magnitud.
