El Ministerio de Agricultura y Asuntos Rurales de China ha anunciado el viernes acerca de un brote de un subtipo altamente patogénico de la gripe aviar, H5N8, en cisnes silvestres en la Zona de Sanwan Whooper Swan Scenic, en el condado de Pinglu, Yuncheng City. Una zona en la que habitan más de 4.000 cisnes silvestres, con 2 muertos y 2 enfermos.
Tras el brote, el gobierno local ha activado inmediatamente el mecanismo de emergencia que es llevado a cabo por un equipo de respuesta de emergencia y ha desinfectado todo el lugar y los alrededores.
Todos los cisnes enfermos y muertos están siendo tratados de la forma adecuada.
