Consiste en una formación volcánica ubicada al sur de la isla de Lanzarote, en Canarias. Abarca desde la Punta del Papagayo hasta las inmediaciones de Playa Quemada.
Se calcula que se formó hace unos once millones de años, aunque según creen los geólogos, posiblemente la altura inicial de estos volcanes era de más de 4.000 metros. Sin embargo, hoy en día, no superan los 400 metros.
Los Ajaches ha sido declarado zona de especial protección para las aves y área de sensibilidad ecológica. Se le conoce como Monumento Natural de Los Ajarches y ocupa una extensión de 7,5 kilómetros de longitud y una superficie de 3.009 hectáreas con cimas de hasta 500 metros de altura, acantilados y barrancos.
