La Agencia Estatal de Meteorología de España (Aemet) ha emitido un comunicado especial por fenómenos adversos. Este aviso especial alerta acerca de temperaturas muy altas que tendrán lugar en toda España, excepto en Galicia y en el área Cantábrica, a partir del sábado, 10 de julio de 2021. La Aemet prevé que esta situación se prolongue hasta el lunes, siendo el grado de probabilidad de que así suceda superior al 90%.
Según han explicado desde la Agencia, una masa de aire muy cálido y seco, de procedencia africana, ha entrado el viernes por el sur de la península e irá intensificándose a lo largo de los próximos días, extendiéndose a todo el territorio español, salvo en el extremo noroeste peninsular.
Como consecuencia de esta situación excepcional, se espera un aumento acusado de las temperaturas, tanto las mínimas como las máximas, dando lugar a un episodio de temperaturas muy altas.
Los días de mayor calor serán el sábado y el domingo, en buena parte de la Península, salvo en el este y sudeste peninsular, donde al igual que en Canarias y Baleares, los días con temperaturas más altas serán el domingo. Es probable que puntos del valle del Ebro y amplias zonas del interior de la mitad sur peninsular, sobre todo en la parte central del valle del Guadalquivir, lleguen a los 40ºC, si bien el domingo se podrían superar puntualmente los 44ºC. Además, estas zonas tendrán temperaturas mínimas altas, con valores cercanos a los 24 a 28ºC, en el valle del Guadalquivir.
El domingo, también se superarán los 35ºC en amplias áreas del interior de la mitad norte.
A última hora del domingo, 11 de julio, la presencia de un sistema de bajas presiones sobre las islas británicas inducirá un flujo de aire fresco por el noroeste, que inducirá el inicio de un descenso de las temperaturas por el oeste de Galicia, generalizándose al resto de la Península, a partir del lunes, salvo al este peninsular, donde las temperaturas seguirán subiendo de forma notable, especialmente en los litorales.
El lunes, es probable que las temperaturas superen los 40ºC en puntos del este y sudeste peninsular y que se alcancen los 39ºC en los litorales de Málaga e interior de Mallorca. Canarias alcanzará los 35ºC de forma bastante generalizada y de forma puntual, los 37ºC, principalmente en el centro y sur de Gran Canaria.
El martes 13 de julio, se espera que el aire relativamente fresco afecte a todo el país, provocando un descenso de las temperaturas principalmente en el área Mediterránea y en Canarias. Entonces, las temperaturas estarán más próximas a los valores normales para estas fechas. Por lo tanto, este día, la Aemet da por concluido el episodio de altas temperaturas que no considera una ola de calor por su corta duración.
