Los rangers dejan cubos de agua en lugares estratégicos para intentar proporcionarles agua, pero no es suficiente.
La pérdida de un camello, un cordero o una vaca, puede ser la ruina para una familia.
En algunas zonas del norte de Kenia no ha llovido desde hace más de un año.
Según las Naciones Unidas, 2,5 millones de personas tienen problemas para poder alimentarse.
Se supone que Kenia tiene dos estaciones de lluvias al año. La de marzo a mayo que debería ser la más lluviosa y la de octubre a diciembre, con lluvias, más bien escasas. Sin embargo, ya hace más de un año que no llueve en el norte de Kenia o que apenas ha llovido débilmente.
El mes pasado, el presidente del país declaraba la sequía como un desastre nacional.
El panorama es desolador. Animales escuálidos, famélicos y muertos por el hambre y la sed. Pero, también hay muchas personas que están en riesgo de muerte. La situación es muy grave.
